LEVEL DESIGNER

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Use the Unity3d level editor for implementing designs, layout of levels, entity creation, gameplay lighting, scripting events, and manipulating AI behaviors.
  • Work on game concepts, gameplay mechanics, entity mechanics, and enemy designs.
  • Provide guidance and assistance where required, and accept guidance and assistance when required.
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard.
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Take initiative and strive to continually expand your horizons.
  • Report to: Lead Game Designer

 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 Years professional experience
  • Fundamental knowledge of game design and ability to implement 3D environment building, entities, rough cameras, creating gameplay scenarios, using design system tools as needed
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of editors such as Unity3d, Sandbox, Unreal, Radiant etc
  • Must possess experience in visual scripting (such as Kismet or Flow Graph)
  • Excited, passionate and motivated
  • Must work well in a team oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced and working knowledge of design tools, techniques and methodologies
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and bring about innovative solutions
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Must be willing to relocate to Andorra


Preferences: 

  • Working knowledge of Unity toolset
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of 3DS Max, engine tools and processes, or other 3D world building software
  • Basic knowledge of XML, LUA, C++ coding and scripting language
  • Strong communicator, able to easily present ideas and information to the team
  • Understanding of game design theory, practice, pacing and mission flow
  • Experience in SCRUM
